עֵץ

עֵץm. (b. h.; v. עֲצֵי 2) tree, pole; wood. Esth. R. to V, 12 לאחר שעשה העץ after having made the gallows. Tam.II, 3, a. fr. עץ שמן pine-wood. Gen.
